Bradley Fritchman at Altrec on 08/11/2010 Rated:  I use it for day hikes and multi day backpacking. Lightweight yet ample support for heavy packs. Good ventilation and traction, laces easy and is a sharp looking boot. Can't go wrong with Lowa.

They have all come unstitched right in line with the bottom eyelet where the toe cover piece is stitched on,the foot flexes there and its rt along the seam,also the soles have delaminated on the current pair. They are almost 2 years old so maybe thats normal.
They fit me great is why I keep buying them.
199.00 seems real pricey for a China made boot,must be a profit deal.
a little short
Lance at Backcountry.com on 04/07/2010 Rated: Well these baby's look like the real deal, and better be for the price...I had some vasque breeze lite (gtx) boots previously, but they leaked in water so I got these. so far so good. Comfy, good looking boot, cant tell on durability but they look like they are built to last.
only problem - I wear a size 13 and ordered a 13...my toe hits the end of the boot. after my first walk in these (to break them in) my toes were sore. so, order a 0.5 size bigger then you may normally - if you are lucky enough to have small enough feet where they offer half sizes that is...me I am not so lucky.
